Yoga Therapy for Women

 

We all have the power to tune in, to release physical tensions, to let go of old habits that don’t serve us, to empower ourselves, to make positive transformations, and improve our own health and well-being.

Yoga therapy adapts the practice of yoga to the health needs of the individuals to help them progress toward greater health and well-being.

Yoga Therapy can be especially beneficial for women dealing with various health conditions and life changes such as:

  • Chronic Pain and Inflammation

  • Stress and Anxiety

  • Low energy and Depression

  • Infertility

  • Hormonal Imbalance

  • Prenatal and Postnatal recovery

  • Digestive issues

  • Insomnia and more

Private Sessions

 

Yoga was originally taught in a private setting – one teacher and one student. The teacher understood the importance of individualizing each yoga experience to meet the needs of the student.

Private yoga classes can immensely benefit your unique body and mind.

Private setting offers you the opportunity to

  • Support your interests and needs, at any given day

  • Respect your physical limitations and abilities

  • Reach your personal goals whether it is strength, flexibility or stress management

  • Bring positive changes to your body and mind and spirit.

Depending on your goals, needs, interests and abilities, I will design classes that will include a blend of challenging power flow, slow meditative yin, balancing restorative postures, breathing and deep relaxation.

I offer private Prenatal and Postnatal classes too.

Classes can take place at your home or remotely via Zoom.

Yoga for Self-Care

 

Self-care is the actions that contribute to our physical, mental and emotional health. It is the practice of nurturing yourself and supporting your needs. Self-care is your fuel.

Self-care practices can relieve mental stress, release muscle tension, and help you find balance and feel confident and vital.

Practicing self- care is not selfish but necessary. When we give loving care to ourselves we are able to give loving care to others.

I am here to share knowledge and guide you in your Self-Care journey. Together we will create your own unique Yoga for Self- Care plan.

The program will include

  • 3 private sessions in person or remotely via Zoom

  • A personalized home practice including yoga postures, movement, breathing techniques and meditation

  • Consultation on how to improve your daily routine and habits

Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga

Practicing prenatal yoga can support you physically, mentally and emotionally throughout your pregnancy and childbirth.  

You will strengthen and stabilize your changing body, relieve pain and discomfort, release stress and anxiety, calm the mind, create space and connection with the baby, work with the breath as a management tool to ease labor pain and prepare you for the birth.

 

Postnatal yoga is a great way to support your recovery post pregnancy and birth, rebuild strength and stability in the body, release common aches and tightness, reduce stress and anxiety, bring emotional balance, elevate your mood and energy levels.

About me

 

Yoga has been my passion since my first class - a Power Vinyasa Flow class - in Washington D.C. well over a decade ago. Since then, I've become a Yoga Alliance certified instructor (2011) and have been teaching ever since, mainly in Israel.

 

As with all good things in life, the learning and studying never ends. Since I began teaching, I have specialized in Yoga for the Back, Prenatal, Postnatal, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Therapy. I continue studying with leading teachers around the world.

 

I find the practice of yoga inspiring, uplifting and helpful for living a better, more mindful, more authentic, connected, happier and healthier life.

 

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge, building relationships and helping other women whichever stage in life they are.
